It functions at the maximum IEEE-1394 speed of 400 Mbps. It allows up to 63 devices to be connected in chain through its two external 6-pin ports.

CARD-32-IOI is particularly great for use with multimedia and storage peripherals such as DV camcorders, disk drives, and ultra high resolution scanners, printers and digital still cameras for professional applications.
